Bobcats take on ITA championships

The Georgia College & State University (GCSU) men's and women’s tennis teams opened play on Sept. 22, at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II Southeast Regional Championship at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, SC.

Trojans top Frederica Academy, continue winning

JMA finished up its three-game road trip last Friday at Frederica Academy, where the Trojans picked up their fourth win of the season in a tightly contested battle with the Knights from St. Simons Island.

The GMC Prep Bulldogs football team traveled to Gainesville last Friday to play in the annual Military Bowl rivalry game with the Riverside Military Eagles.

Bulldogs battle back to beat Gamecocks

Top-ranked Georgia battled back after trailing at the half to defeat South Carolina 24-14 this past Saturday. The Gamecocks came out swinging and quarterback Spencer Rattler proved why he’s among the best quarterbacks in the conference.

Top-ranked Georgia set to face UAB

No. 1 Georgia (3-0) is set to face UAB (1-2) Saturday in Athens for its fourth straight home game. The Bulldogs and Blazers have met three previous times, with the most recent being in 2021 in Athens.

Trojans remain undefeated with win over George Walton

John Milledge Academy returned to action this past Friday when it faced the George Walton Academy Bulldogs in Monroe. With a 34-7 victory over the Bulldogs, the Trojans improved to 3-0 on the season and boosted the school’s overall undefeated streak to 53 games dating back to the 2019 season.

Mews sparks Georgia win over Ball State

After a scoreless first quarter, top-ranked Georgia got the spark it needed Saturday afternoon when wide receiver Mekhi Mews returned a Ball State punt 69 yards to the end zone. The Bulldogs never looked back.
