After dousing our gardens with some much-needed rain, the clouds cleared just in time for the Milledgeville Garden Club to gather for its end-of-year spring party on the expansive poolside patio of the beautiful lakeside home of Jan Jeffords-Schenck and Mat Schenck.

Perhaps the only thing more American than burgers is, well, 14 different burgers.Milledgeville Burger Week is officially here, although the title is misleading, and the event actually runs for 10 days. Regardless, Burger Week 2026 begins on Friday and runs through May 24.

Freedom Boat Club to expand on Lake Sinclair

Freedom Boat Club (FBC) is expanding its presence in Lake Country with a new location on Lake Sinclair at Sinclair Marina (170 Sinclair Marina Rd., Milledgeville). The new location is expected to begin operations the first week of June.
