April is designated as National Autism Acceptance Month, but Georgia College’s Center for Health and Social Issues, along with the Life Enrichment Center (LEC), hopes to bring awareness beyond just a month.

GCSU holds Senior Capstone Exhibit

The air was warm, and spirits were high April 18 as crowds of onlookers flocked into the Georgia College & State University (GCSU) Art Department’s capstone exhibit, Presence, hoping to catch a glimpse of the unique and diverse set of pieces created by seven senior art majors at GCSU.

Cars lined Irwinton Road on Saturday for C&B Meat Market’s first Spring Festival and Outdoor Market that offered food, entertainment, and local vendors.Open for three years this February, C&B Meat Market is a family-run business focusing on meat processing and retail.

ArtHealthy Festival offers health resources for Baldwin County

Georgia College & State University’s front campus was flooded with guests and vendors at Baldwin County’s 10th annual ArtHealthy Festival this weekend.According to its website, the goal of the festival is to “promote art and healthy living in Central Georgia.

Hailing from Eatonton, Janice Westfall debuted her exhibit at the Marlor House in Milledgeville April 5.Westfall is a self-taught artist with more than a decade of experience. In her earlier days, her artwork was in black and white but it has evolved into a blossoming pool of color.

Tale Trail debuts at Collins P. Lee Center
