What: Kids Fishing Event When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Where: Lockerly Arboretum (Hwy 441 South, 1534 Irwinton Rd.) More info: Grab the kids to go fishing! Over 1,000 catfish have been stocked in Lockerly’s pond. Some are big and are waiting for you to catch them. For children ages 16 and under. One adult per two children. Lockerly provides hotdogs for bait, but you can bring worms if you prefer. Bring your own rods, reels, tackle, stringer or bucket. Take home up to 5 fish per child!
