Woman resists probation arrestOn March 20, law enforcement was dispatched to the state probation office in reference to probation officers fighting with Jasmyn Dye. Back-up arrived to see a male on his knees at Dye’s legs. He was holding her legs while she was handcuffed behind her back.

Missing fisherman’s body found in Lake Sinclair

The body of a missing boater was found around 7 p.m.Tuesday evening after two days of searching led by the Baldwin County Public Safety Drive Team.
Baldwin County Superintendent Dr. Noris Price (center) was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation and Plaque of Appreciation from the 100 Black Men of Milledgeville Oconee, a certificate of recognition from the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners and a key of the city from Mayor Mary Parham-Copelan and council member Denese Shinholster. Agencies work together to solve shooting investigation

Throughout the night March 21, night-shift units with the Milledgeville Police Department collaborated with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office to investigate multiple shooting incidents in both the city and the county. Fortunately, only minor injuries were reported during these events.At 10:30 p.m.

The Ocmulgee Circuit Chief Superior Court Judge was recently appointed to the state Judicial Qualifications Commission by the Georgia Supreme Court.The announcement of the appointment of Judge Alison T. Burleson to the JQC was made in a March 4 press release by the high court.
