JMA dominates to secure 2nd-straight title

John Milledge Academy (JMA) wrapped up its second-straight GIAA AAA baseball state championship last Monday. The Trojans faced off against the Pinewood Patriots in a rematch of last year’s championship series, which JMA won in three games.

Commissioner speaks to Milledgeville pickleball group

The Milledgeville Pickleball Group enjoyed a round-robin tournament and lunch this past Friday, and two guests joined the players and volunteers at the tables. Approximately 45 players took part in the tournament, and most stayed for the meal.

Walmart shoplifter escapes into the woods On May 9, law enforcement was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft that had already occurred. An employee reported to Asset Protection that, on the night of May 8, a young male was seen taking merchandise and throwing it over the fence.
