City responds to business group focused on water

Milledgeville officials are hopeful that the recent water crisis will help lead to meaningful efforts to solve the perceived problems in the city’s water system, as a council member has offered a resolution to initiate city action and businesses have formed a coalition to offer assistance.

Fatality on Pea Ridge Road claims life of Milledgeville woman

A head-on collision on Pea Ridge Road yesterday took the life of an elderly woman and had traffic shut down for four hours, authorities say. Linda Kelley, 75, of Milledgeville, was killed in the wreck which happened around 12:08 p.m., according to Putnam County Sheriff Department’s Col.
