A called meeting of three members of the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners has led to a decision that could resolve the issues surrounding the condition of the tennis and pickleball courts at the Walter B. Williams Recreation Park.

BOC votes to cancel multi-use path plan

The Baldwin County Board of Commissioners had multiple discussions at their regular meeting on Jan. 16 about programs and projects within the county. One of these discussions ultimately ended with the cancellation of the multi-use path around the Baldwin County Regional Airport.

Westmoreland elected chair; BOC hears updates on path

The Board of Commissioners met on Jan. 2 to vote on the new chairperson and vice chair and hear updates on emergency medical services (EMS), the enterprise fleet management leasing program and the multi-use path to be built near the Baldwin County Regional Airport.

BOC approves budget; hosts special recognitions

The Baldwin County Board of Commissioners hosted its final meeting of the year on Dec. 19 completed several presentations and approved the budget. All members except Commissioner Henry Craig were present at the meeting.

The Baldwin County Board of Commissioners Tuesday night agreed to spend extra money in the short-run with the goal of minimizing costs later.

BOC approves grant awards and contracts

The Baldwin County Board of Commissioners hosted its regular meeting on Nov. 21 and approved an appointment, grant awards, and an intergovernmental contract. Only commissioners Kendrick Butts, Emily Davis, and Sammy Hall were present at the meeting to vote.
