Male steals merchandise and returns it for store credit On Oct. 18, law enforcement was dispatched to Lowes in reference to a theft. A male, later identified as Cameron Butcher, was reportedly taking merchandise and refunding it for store credit. Reportedly, the first theft occurred on Sept.

Commissioners honored for academic achievements

At the last Baldwin County Board of Commissioners’ meeting, Commissioner Kendrick Butts and Vice-Chairman Johnny Westmoreland were recognized for academic achievement in the Lifelong Learning Academy.

GCSU awards two locals for their service to the college and the community

Man shot in drive-by near Harrisburg Road

A local man was shot Oct. 22, in a drive-by shooting near the intersection of Allen Memorial Drive and Harrisburg Road. The victim, identified as Jabrandon Ford, was shot in his left elbow and left upper thigh.
