Grand re-opening held at Lake Country Lanes

Main Street hosts First Friday: August Car Show

Milledgeville Main Street’s First Friday event made its return on Aug. 4 with the August Car Show. Live music played at the Plaza next to Allen's Market with local musicians from Hypertension Live Band and over 50 classic cars were displayed on the street by Old Capital Car Club of Milledgeville.

Seeking Asylum LLC., a Central State Hospital photography exhibit, sponsored the screening of Central State Hospital: An Oral History at the Chapel of All Faiths, on the Central State Hospital (CSH) campus, July 22.

The Life Enrichment Center (LEC), a nonprofit organization serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, hosted its official opening for its Urban Arts Village, on July 15. The Urban Arts Village is located on New City Church at the Mill’s property on 224 East Walton St.

Seeking Asylum and Georgia’s Old Capital Heritage Center (GOCHC) at the Depot hosted their second trivia night fundraiser, July 15 at the Brick. The event fundraised for The Depot Project, an ongoing restoration to turn the building into an interactive museum called the heritage center.
