The Georgia College & State University theatre & dance department put on a musical rendition of Percy Jackson over the weekend.The musical is based on the 2019 Broadway adaptation Rick Riodran’s “The Lightning Thief.

Six years after the idea was first floated, the new Baldwin County Aquatic Center at Walter B. Williams Jr. Park soon will become a reality.The grand opening is set for May 22, just two days after Baldwin County School District kids get out of school for the summer.

Chamber names 2026 STAR students, teachers

Georgia Native Plant Society hosts nature walk at Selm Erwin Nature Preservation

Last Saturday at the Selma Erwin Nature Preservation, the Fringed Champion Chapter of The Georgia Native Plant Society hosted a nature walk. The walk was open to anyone interested in learning more about the local plant life or just looking to get outside with members of the community.
