    Perhaps the only thing more American than burgers is, well, 14 different burgers.

    Milledgeville Burger Week is officially here, although the title is misleading, and the event actually runs for 10 days. Regardless, Burger Week 2026 begins on Friday and runs through May 24.

    Fourteen different restaurants from around town have entered this year’s competition. Kai Thai, the winner of the previous two Burger Weeks, is going for the three-peat and is the current betting favorite in the imaginary Kalshi and Polymarket odds. The winner of the Burger Week “People’s Choice Award” will be announced at the June First Friday.
