The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Visit Milledgeville, will host the inaugural Milledgeville Bridal & Event Showcase Jan. 24 from noon to 4 p.m. in the Magnolia Ballroom at Georgia College & State University.

‘MLM is for Murder’ brings realism to comedy

I recently saw Georgia College’s production of “MLM (multilevel marketing) is for Murder” presented by its Department of Theatre & Dance. The production had a small cast on a small stage in the college’s Black Box Theatre in downtown Milledgeville.

The Lake Oconee Elks hosted a fish fry Oct. 28 at the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville. They served over 50 lbs. of fileted fish and sides to 47 veterans in the recreation center and provided 12 to-go meals to 12 nonmobile veterans along with 23 staff members. Lake Oconee Elks thanks Chairman Mike De Petrillo and his volunteers for making it a great event for the veterans. CONTRIBUTED
