Bobcats upset high-ranked Columbus State

As the final batter for the No. 8 ranked Columbus State Cougars was thrown out at first to clinch a 2-1 series upset for the Georgia College Bobcats, the home fans at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field were silent as their team dropped a series at home for the first time since April of 2019.

JMA Baseball takes first round playoff series

The JMA Trojan Baseball team is moving on in the state playoffs after a 2-0 series win against the Westminster Schools of Augusta. The two teams battled it out on Monday, April 25th.

Braves baseball team ends season with win over Westside

The Baldwin Braves Baseball team (5-21) had its hardships this season but like the other spring sports at the school, they ended on a high note. The baseball team was able to cap off their season with an 8-5 win over Rutland High school along with a forfeit win over Westside High school.

After final wild lap, calm-running Ross gets the ‘Dega’ W

One lap. That’s all it took for Ross Chastain to drop a watermelon and raise a trophy in celebration. The 29-year old Floridian led only the last – typically frantic – lap in the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday to take his second career Cup Series victory.

Bobcats finish sweep on Senior Day

Although the sky threatened to ruin the festivities taking place at John Kurtz Field Saturday afternoon, the clouds held off just long enough for the Bobcats to celebrate their seniors as well as finish a sweep of the Claflin University Panthers.
