UGA Dawgs walk off final regular baseball season game

After suffering losses in the previous two games against the Missouri Tigers, the Bulldogs ended their season on a high note by avoiding the series sweep with a walk-off win ahead of NCAA tournament next week.

Dawg softball ends season after forcing game seven

DURHAM, N.C.-The University of Georgia Softball Team (43-18) worked its way through the loser’s bracket in the Durham Regional hosted by Duke University. The Dawgs went in as the No. 2 seed and Duke the No. 1 seed.

John Milledge Academy defeated the Pinewood Christian Patriots in the GISA Class AAA State Baseball Championship this past Saturday in a best-of-three series. It was a rematch of last year’s state championship in which the Patriots got the best of the Trojans.

Georgia softball nabs four All-SEC honors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The UGA softball team (40-16, 12-12 SEC) ties the 2018 record high for All-SEC Honors with four. Sarah Mosley, Jada Kearney and Lacey Fincher were all named to the All-SEC first team. Sydney Kuma was named to the All-SEC Second Team. Mosley led the team with a .

Bobcats tie record for postseason awards

After their best season since 2018, the Bobcat baseball team also tied the program’s record for most All-PBC Team awards, a record that was also set during that 2018 season when there were six players nominated to the First Team, and two nominated to the Second Team.

John Milledge Academy congratulates 2022 All Region Team

John Milledge Academy senior baseball player, Keaton Prior has been named GISA AAA Region Player of the Year for his production in the 2022 baseball season. The right-handed pitcher has a perfect 11-0 record throwing 69 innings in 12 appearances on the mound with a 1.42 ERA and 104 strikeouts.

GC softball players earn post-season honors and recognition

As the softball season comes to an end, senior Carlie Behan and sophomore Mackenzie Martin were both named to the All-PBC Second Team. This is the first time either player has earned All-PBC awards, and for Carlie Behan, it is a great way to end a solid collegiate career.
