Georgia College women’s soccer to host local kids camp

The Georgia College Women’s Soccer Team is set to host a camp for local kids ages 5-13. The camp will be held from June 13 through the 17.
The camp will be held at Bobcat Field, the soccer field on West Campus, as well as the Centennial Center on Main Campus.

Milledgeville resident wins Putnam County Dairy Festival 5K

The Dairy Festival begins bright and early each year with a race kicking off the day’s events. Formerly a 10K race called the ‘Torture Trail’ hosted by Farmers and Merchants Bank, this year’s race was hosted by the Eatonton Pilot Club. It is now known as the ‘Dairy Festival 5K Road Race.

As the Dawgs entered the bottom of the ninth of their third game in the NCAA Regional tournament, they looked dead in the water. They were trailing the UNC Tar Heels by four runs, a lead the Heels had acquired after three innings and never looked back from.
