Strong start for JMA under new head coach

The John Milledge Academy (JMA) Trojans and new head coach Tucker Bradley began their 2026 baseball season on the right foot by defeating rival Brentwood 6-1 in Milledgeville last Wednesday afternoon.

Back-to-back wins for GMCP baseball

The Georgia Military Prep (GMCP) Bulldogs had a good bounce back last week, going 2-0 over Brentwood and Windsor after posting a 1-2 record the week before.The Bulldogs did, however, lose their first game this week to Jasper County, falling 6-4 to the Hurricanes in Monticello.

Braves to face Hephzibah – again

After splitting decisions in the regular season with Cross Creek, the Baldwin Braves took on the Razorbacks once more Saturday night in a region playoff battle at home, where a narrow 53-51 decision went the way of the visitors.

Baldwin top seed for GHSA playoffs

The Baldwin boys basketball team delivered a strong finish to its regular season with eight straight wins. That streak contributed to a 22-3 overall record and going 15-1 in region play to secure the top ranking in GHSA 3A, Reg.

Bobcats triumph over Augusta

GCSU men’s basketball earned its ninth Peach Belt win this season with an 86-76 decision over Augusta University at GCSU’s Centennial Center in Milledgeville. The game featured 11 lead changes, with the score being tied six times through the game.
