JMA advances with 48-19 win over Panthers

The Trojans’ perfect season continued with their first playoff win last Friday, beating the visiting Tiftarea Panthers 48-19 behind a strong game on offense and equally good performance on defense.

Bell helps lead Bulldogs past Volunteers Saturday

Georgia’s Dillon Bell had himself a game against Tennessee in a 38-10 win on Saturday. Bell, a sophomore offensive weapon for the Bulldogs, completed one pass for an 18-yard touchdown. He also had a rush for four yards while adding five receptions for 90 yards and a score. “Great competitor.

Bobcats beat Lions 97-92 in Florida

Zyair Greene and Brendan Rigsbee combined for 51 points as Georgia College & State University (GCSU) defeated Saint Leo University (SLU) 97-92 in a non-conference men's basketball game on Nov. 17 at the Marion Bowman Center in Florida. The GCSU Bobcats are playing their first 11 games on the road.

BHS head coach dismissed from coaching duties

Updated on Nov. 21 Baldwin High School’s Head Coach Jesse Hicks confirmed to The Baldwin Bulletin Thursday, Nov. 16 that he was dismissed from his coaching duties by school administration.

JMA takes on Tiftarea in first playoff game

After its win over Tattnall Square two weeks ago, John Milledge Academy (JMA) sat out round one of the state playoffs with a bye and awaited the winner of the matchup between St. Andrews and Tiftarea.

Georgia College and State University (GCSU) men's basketball remained a perfect 2-0 after a 69-66 win n Dalonega over North Greenville University, which fell 0-2. GCSU went into the second half trailing the Crusaders 35-31.

Milton, Bulldogs run away with win over No. 9 Ole Miss

Georgia put on its best ground game performance of the season last Saturday against No. 9 Ole Miss. The No. 1 Bulldogs (10-0, 7-0 SEC) rushed for a season-high 300 yards and five touchdowns in a 52-17 win over the Rebels (8-2, 5-2). They also averaged a season-high 8.6 yards per rush as a team.
