First Friday Beach Bash was full of visitors to Milledgeville’s mini beach in the parking lot of the Deep Roots stage area. Made from 80 tons of sand, the beach was littered with nets, balls, and pools for water and sandy activities.
A group of attendees circled together to play a game of “pass the ball” with the added fight of not allowing it to hit the sand. Players ran back and forth to rescue the ball from impending doom as it bounced around the circle.
Angelia Howard with LifeLink of Georgia tabled to discuss with attendees about organ, eye, and tissue donations.
Younger children found peace by the sides of scattered pools along the beach, whether playing with a ball or amongst the water and sand.

Representatives with the Twin Lakes Library gave away free books and offered numerous arts and crafts activities to visitors of the beach.
