The Uncle Remus Museum in Eatonton will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence by offering free admission and special storytelling programs this Friday.
The museum, dedicated to preserving the life and legacy of author Joel Chandler Harris, who spent his childhood in Eatonton, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
