GCSU and Mercer Kappa Alpha orders support local veteran

The Kappa Alpha Order chapter at Georgia College & State University partnered with the Kappa Alpha Order at Mercer University to fund $26,000 to purchase an all-terrain track chair for MSgt. Michael Rollins.

Local CEO leads effort to distribute 500 turkeys

A quiet street tucked in the center of Central State Campus at 132 Shop Rd. came to life on Nov. 19 as families gathered to receive free Thanksgiving turkeys, organized and funded by the CEO of Atlas Universal Inc., Dr. Ken Singh.
