City manager says goodbye to Milledgeville after decade of service

City Manager Hank Griffeth served at his last city council meeting Nov. 18 after 11 years working for the city. He offered a heartfelt speech closing his final city manager’s report during the meeting, near tears.Griffeth was hired in June of 2019 as the interim city manager.

The Baldwin High School athletic community celebrated a milestone moment Nov. 12 for senior Karez Demory as he signed his National Letter of Intent (NLI) to continue his basketball career at Southern University. It marked a historic accomplishment for both Demory and the Baldwin Braves.
