GMC mourns loss of student

A Georgia Military College football player died Dec. 15 after his home in Rock Cliff Court, Stone Mountain, caught on fire.According to the Atlanta First broadcast, the homeowner was 21-year-old Izaiah Taylor’s grandfather. He confirmed the morning of Dec. 16 that Taylor had perished in the fire.

Georgia Military College announced that GMC Alumnus (JC c/o ‘89) Maj. Gen. Reginald Neal, U.S. Army (retired), was appointed by the president of the United States to serve as the assistant secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs for Operations, Security, and Preparedness.
