The Baldwin County School District is honoring Ola Scott-Little this month for National Social Work Month. Ola Scott-Little has worked as a social worker for 26 years, 22 of those years being in Baldwin County.

Mary Vinson Memorial Library to undergo future renovation

The Mary Vinson Memorial Library will be undergoing renovations on a yet-to-be-announced timeline after receiving $1 million dollar in state funding. The Mary Vinson Memorial Library building was completed in 1986 and has deteriorated overtime due to use.

The SPLOST referendum is Tuesday, March 21. However, early voting continues through this Friday at the County Administration Building on North Columbia Street from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Polls will be open Tuesday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and voters must cast their ballot at their assigned precincts.

Shots fired on North Glynn Street On March 6, law enforcement was dispatched in reference to shots fired. Prior to responding to the area, 9-1-1 received a call from a resident in the 100 block of North Glynn Street reporting hearing gunshots in the area.
