BOC votes to cancel multi-use path plan

The Baldwin County Board of Commissioners had multiple discussions at their regular meeting on Jan. 16 about programs and projects within the county. One of these discussions ultimately ended with the cancellation of the multi-use path around the Baldwin County Regional Airport.

Baldwin High hires new head football coach

Baldwin High School officially announced Kevin Patterson last week as its new head football coach. The hiring comes after the Baldwin County Board of Education approved Patterson as the new head coach in a Jan. 9 meeting.

BCSD students honored at MLK Breakfast Celebration

Georgia College & State University (GCSU) honored local students on Jan. 12 at its 2024 King’s Day Breakfast Celebration. The community was invited to honor these students and the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. while enjoying a range of festivities and creations.

Unknown offender breaks into camper On Jan. 5, an unknown offender was reported to have broken into a 2019 Laredo 325RL camper parked at Criswell Mini Storage. The owner of the camper stated the offender damaged the lock and the door frame on the camper and stole a $30 pair of binoculars.
