Georgia unemployment rate stayed flat last month

Georgia’s unemployment rate held steady at 3.4% in December for the fourth month in a row, the state Department of Labor reported Thursday. The Peach State continued to outperform the nation, with the national jobless rate at 3.7%.

Man caught shoplifting three times On Jan. 17, law enforcement was dispatched to Walmart about multiple reports of shoplifting. Surveillance footage on Jan. 1, 4, and Dec. 29 showed a male shoplifting from the self-checkout. An employee identified the male as Randy Wright.
