GC falls short in PBC championship tournament

After their controversial series victory over the USC Aiken Paces last weekend, the Bobcats headed into the tournament as what many thought to be the weakest No. 2 seed.

John Milledge Academy congratulates 2022 All Region Team

John Milledge Academy senior baseball player, Keaton Prior has been named GISA AAA Region Player of the Year for his production in the 2022 baseball season. The right-handed pitcher has a perfect 11-0 record throwing 69 innings in 12 appearances on the mound with a 1.42 ERA and 104 strikeouts.

GC advances to weekend tournament on controversial call

GC softball players earn post-season honors and recognition

As the softball season comes to an end, senior Carlie Behan and sophomore Mackenzie Martin were both named to the All-PBC Second Team. This is the first time either player has earned All-PBC awards, and for Carlie Behan, it is a great way to end a solid collegiate career.

Bobcats upset high-ranked Columbus State

As the final batter for the No. 8 ranked Columbus State Cougars was thrown out at first to clinch a 2-1 series upset for the Georgia College Bobcats, the home fans at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field were silent as their team dropped a series at home for the first time since April of 2019.

JMA Baseball takes first round playoff series

The JMA Trojan Baseball team is moving on in the state playoffs after a 2-0 series win against the Westminster Schools of Augusta. The two teams battled it out on Monday, April 25th.

Braves baseball team ends season with win over Westside

The Baldwin Braves Baseball team (5-21) had its hardships this season but like the other spring sports at the school, they ended on a high note. The baseball team was able to cap off their season with an 8-5 win over Rutland High school along with a forfeit win over Westside High school.

It was an Earnhardt Saturday in Earnhardt country. Grabbing the lead on a restart in the third overtime, Noah Gragson— driving for Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s JR Motorsports—won the Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway.
