On behalf of the Citizens Bank of the South (CBOTS) Board of Directors, CEO David Brooker recently announced the promotion of Lynde Schubert to Corporate Vice President, Baldwin County Market President, in Milledgeville.

Construction continues at a relatively brisk pace on Milledgeville’s newest fast food restaurant.Jacks’ Family Restaurant, sign now erected, plans on opening at some point next month.

In terms of the political color palette, Baldwin County has two distinctly blue districts and three reliably red ones.Up for grabs this year are the three red ones: Districts 3, 4, and 5. Qualifying wrapped up last Friday, with seven candidates vying for these three seats.

Attack reported in Midway Hills Academy lunchroom

Sheriff’s deputies responded to Midway Hills Academy last Wednesday following an incident in the school cafeteria.According to the incident report, an “11-year-old male student used his plastic lunch tray to strike a 10-year-old female student” two times.
