Cannabis-cultivating firm green lit; to be approved

A multi-state medical cannabis-cultivating firm got the green light from the Milledgeville Planning and Zoning Commission for its rezoning request this past Monday evening, as the advisory board voted to recommend approval.

GMC Prep wins State Literary title for 9th-straight year

Georgia Military College Prep School (GMC Prep) won the State Literary Competition, marking its 9th consecutive victory. Hosted at Georgia Military College, the competition showcased the talents and dedication of the GMC Prep Literary Team, coached by LTC. Mark Weaver and Maj. Jenny Morris.
