The Milledgeville Garden Club colored nearly 200 cards thanks to MGC members, the Lions Club, and the Kiwanis Club’s generosity. Ten dollars was added to many of the cards so veterans can spend the money.

Baldwin student accepts Angel Tree gift

Several months ago, Putnam Christian Outreach in Eatonton received the donation of an electric guitar, to be shared with a deserving student as an Angel Tree Christmas gift.

A human book chain was formed to transfer materials Dec. 10 between the Hancock Branch of the Twin Lake Library and the Mary Vinson Memorial Library to prepare for its grand reopening.The Mary Vinson Memorial Library was closed Feb. 28 for renovations.
