Lake Oconee Elks visit Georgia War Veterans Home

The Lake Oconee Elks Lodge chuckwagon crew and lodge volunteers visited the Georgia War Veterans Home (GWVH) in Milledgeville April 22 to grill beer brats and hamburgers for veterans at the home.Twenty-three volunteers from Elks Lodge 2849, based at 871 Harmony Rd.

Allied Arts partners with local artists for Spring Camp

Allied Arts continues its mission of bringing art activities to younger audiences through its annual Spring Break Art Camp.Eighteen kids signed up for a week of classes with a different activity and artist each day.

Milledgeville Mainstreet hosted April’s First Friday: Masters in Milly on April 4 transforming downtown Milledgeville into a putt-putt course for the second annual Masters in Milly, where attendees played a ninehole course sponsored by local businesses.
