Trojans trounce Eagles to begin region play

John Milledge Academy (6-1, 1-0) demonstrated total dominance last Friday night at home on Trojan Field, with 51-13 win over Stratford Academy on Homecoming night. The victory also provided the Trojans with their first region win this season.

John Milledge Academy (5-1) pulled out a 31-28 nail biter last Friday night at Trojan Field in Milledgeville against the Brentwood Eagles, thanks to key plays by Bryce McDonel and Asa Wall in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.“It was good,” said Trojans head coach J.T. Wall.

John Milledge Academy (JMA) saw its hopes for an undefeated season dashed last Friday night in Athens where the Athens Academy (ACAD) Spartans handed the Trojans a 28-14 loss, their first of the 2025 season.

GMC seeking first win for 2025

After dropping the first two games of the season at home, Georgia Military College (GMC) Prep also lost its first road games, falling 35-7 to Brentwood on Aug. 29 in Sandersville, followed by a 34-14 loss last Friday night to Taylor County in Butler.

JMA remains undefeated with 42-7 home win

John Milledge Academy (3-0) continued its dominance so far this season with a 42-7 trouncing of the Tiftarea Panthers last Friday night in Milledgeville.The Trojans’ defense held the Panthers to just one score that came in the final minute of the second quarter to leave JMA ahead 35-7 at halftime.
