The John Milledge Academy (JMA) boys’ basketball team is firing on all cylinders this year. The Trojans moved to a 10-0 overall record on the season after defeating Brentwood Academy (57-49), Bethlehem Christian (69-37) and Trinity Christian (62-36) last week.

The John Milledge Academy boys’ basketball team was close to winning a state title last year. The Trojans came up short last year in the GISA Class 3A state championship to St. Andrews. The Lions from Savannah walked away with a slim 49-47 win to secure the title.

Georgia College & State University women’s basketball (9-3, 1-1 PBC) concluded 2022 with a 64-49 win over the University of Auburn at Montgomery (4-11, 3-8 GSC). The Bobcats started the game hot-outscoring the Warhawks 21-14 in the first quarter.
