Georgia College & State University softball (20-12, 7-8 PBC) hosted Lander University (18-11, 9-6 PBC) March 24-25, beginning with a doubleheader at the Peeler Complex in Milledgeville. The visitors won both Friday games, but the Bobcats rebounded with a victory on Saturday.

The Baldwin County School District honored former student Javon Bullard once again for winning a second national title at the University of Georgia, but this time in a much grander fashion. In 2022, the city of Milledgeville celebrated Bullard as he toured each school in the district for a day.
