Trojans vs. Tiftarea in tough playoff pairing

The John Milledge Academy (JMA) Trojans will make the long trip south to Chula on Friday night for a first-round playoff match against the Tiftarea Academy Panthers.The Panthers have enjoyed a great regular season, finishing with a 9-1 record that included a 46-21 victory over JMA in week three.

Baldwin beats Howard as regular season winds down

The Baldwin Braves extended their regular season winning streak to four games with a 49-36 win over Howard last Thursday night in Macon.

Big region win for Braves over Patriots

The Baldwin Braves moved above a .500-win percentage for the first time all season last Friday night with a dominating 42-14 win at home over the highly favored Westside Patriots, out of Augusta.

Georgia prepares for Florida, DJ Lagway

The annual Georgia-Florida rivalry will be renewed this Saturday in Jacksonville at Everbank Stadium. The No. 2 Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 SEC) will face the Gators (4-3, 2-2), led by talented freshman quarterback DJ Lagway after starter Graham Mertz suffered a season-ending injury a few weeks ago.

Eatonton’s own C.G.Knight said he predicted his Oct. 13 win at No Mercy 15 on the eighth mile at South Georgia Motorsports Park (SGMP), near Valdosta.

Trojans top Trojans in 28-17 loss for JMA

Despite a come-frombehind attempt that fell 11 points shy of the Tattnall Square Academy (TSA) last Friday night in Macon, John Milledge Academy (JMA) put together one of its best games of the season. The hometown Trojans held on to a 28-17 victory over the visitors with the same team name.
