Thomas Christin “Chris” Simmons, 51, passed away on May 7, 2026. Moores Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Survivors include his mother Virginia Rookes, his stepfather Michael Rookes, of Milledgeville, his daughter Shey Simmons Carr of Cary, NC, and his son Tyler Simmons of Eatonton as well as his longtime companion Sandra Wheatley.
