Robert H. Scarborough, 83, passed away on March 14, 2026. Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The graveside service is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 21st at Baldwin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Mae Scarborough of Monroe, a son Robert Jeffery Scarborough (Rhonda), Rodney Dwayne Scarborough both of Monroe, a daughter Angelia Paige Barrett (Johnny) of Monroe, two stepsons Charles Roberts (Belinda)of Milledgeville, Hampton LeDon Roberts (Wendy) of Monroe, Debra Lynn Avans (Destry) of Eatonton, a brother Richard Terrell Scarborough of Milledgeville, a sister Mary Flanagan (Donnie) of Hull, GA, 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Scarborough was born in Madison County. Scarborough made his home in Monroe, and owned Monroe Tree Service for over 32 years. Upon retirement, he opened Roberts Stump Removal Service.
