Frankie Susan “Sue” Key McDade, age 73, of Milledgeville, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025. Funeral Services for Sue McDade were conducted Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Gardner officiating.
Interment followed at 1:00pm in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
The family received friends at the Williams Funeral Home following the service, but prior to the burial, from 11:30am until 12:30pm.
A native of Putnam County, Sue was born on January 30, 1952, to the late Franklin Lanier Key and the late Mary Christine Parham Key. Sue lived most of her life in Milledgeville. She retired from the Medical Records Department of Central State Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Ararat Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edward “Eddie” McDade, Jr. of Milledgeville ; her daughter, Elizabeth Shannon McDade of Macon ; 2 sons, Brian Edward (& Jill) McDade of Milledgeville, and Michael Shawn (& Stephanie) McDade of Milledgeville ; her sisters, Frances (& Thomas) Emly of Montezuma, Ann (& Terrell) Dixon of Eatonton, and Cathy (& Rev. Grady Paul) Gardner ; her brother, Richard (& Shelia) Key of Eatonton ; and two grandchildren, Addyson McDade, and Taylor Moore.
