Emily Branan Youngblood, 72, passed away on Feb. 28, 2026. Moores Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Survivors include son Stephen Youngblood (Laura) of Gordon, two grandchildren Branan Youngblood (Carlee) and Stephanie Youngblood. Youngblood was born in Gordon, Georgia on June 10, 1953, to the late William Horace Branan and Myrtle May Branan. She retired from BASF with over 40 years of service. She was preceded in death by her sisters Janice Charette, and Carol Branan. Mrs. Youngblood volunteered at the Chard Wray Food Pantry, was a Master Gardener and loved to travel. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
