Sandra Cone Taylor, 79, passed away on Sept. 15, 2026. Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The graveside service is set for today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Survivors include husband, Harold “Ted” Taylor; her son, Michael Taylor; her sister, Betty Cone Fairley (Willard) of Jasper; her nephews, David Scott Fairley (Victoria) of Kennesaw, and Christopher Lee Fairley (Heather) of Willacoochee; her cousin, Darlene Johnson of Milledgeville, Georgia; her cousin, Dr. Dwight R. “Ron-
nie" Weathers (Jean) of Lilburn; and her lifelong friend, Susan Willis Updegraff , along with many other
relatives and friends.
