John Steve Horne, Sr., 66, passed away on June 21, 2026. Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. A celebration of life service is set for Friday, June 26 at 4 p.m. at Moores. Survivors include his wife Cheri Horne of Eatonton, his children John S. Horne, Jr. of Houston, TX, Mark Boone of Jerseyville, IL and Ken Boone of Eatonton, Tina Runyon (Greg) and his browned eyed girl Tanya Kuchariski (Dennis) both of Eatonton, two brothers Tommy Horne of Milledgeville, and Jason Horne (Traci) of Buckhead, a sister Robin Denniston Horne (Faye) of Deltona, FL, grandchildren Chelsea, Bradly, Kaitlyn, Seth, Amber, Halen, Kara, Mikey, Bobby, Taylor, Sara and Anna, 7 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and also survive.
