Gerald Grimes, 79, passed away on June 10, 2026. Williams Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Harrison Grimes; his children, Brandon Grimes (Kelly) and Alison Grimes Foles (Justin); his beloved grandchildren, Madelaine, Annalise, Hudson, and Landon, who deeply loved their Papa; his brother, David Grimes (Debbie); and his sister, Rosalyn Grimes Register, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Known as “The Sign Man,” Grimes owned Grimes Signs for 40 years before retiring to north Georgia.
