Gladys Brenda Bentley Leverette, 80, passed away on March 15, 2026. Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Visitation is today (Thursday) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Moores, with the service immediately folliowing. Survivors include her nephew Buster Bentley, (Carol) of McIntyre, her niece Shelia Bentley Mathews of McIntyre, sister-in-law Mary Eilzabeth Bentley of McIntyre, great nieces and nephews Joel Bentley, Brooke Bentley, Mary Beth Mercer, Bentley Mathews, and 4 great great-nieces. Leverette was born in Gordon. She was an Executive Secretary with the Georgia War Veterans Home and retired with 34 years of service. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and served as the church pianist.
