Cathy Taylor Brooks, 65, passed away on Feb. 27, 2026.
Moores Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. She is survived by children Clint Brooks (Chasity) of Milledgeville, Chad Brooks of Atlanta, Morgan Pearson (Nathan) and Nathan Brooks all of Milledgeville, her sister Judy Bonner of Milledgeville, grandchildren Caitlin Brooks, Gracie Screws, Libby Brooks, Mason Brooks, Olivia Brooks, Delaney Pearson and Natalie Pearson, great grandchildren, Colton Screws, Malachi Screws and Maggie Screws. Brooks was born on January 6, 1961, in Milledgeville to the late Charles C. Taylor and Helen Cannon Taylor. She was a life-long resident of Milledgeville and worked as a respiratory therapist with Oconee Regional Medical Center, retiring with over 26 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband James Lillian Brooks, Jr., and was a member of Freedom Church.
