Maxie Threatt, 86, passed away on Feb. 26, 2026. Moores Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. He is survived by wife, Sandra; two daughters, Margaret (Dale) Wallace and Melissa (Chad) Wilson, two grandsons, Dustin (Chelsey) Wallace, and his children Colton and Rune, and Cole Wilson and (Brooke) who lovingly call him “D” a brother-in-law Gene Childers and a sister Sybil Sellers both of Lancaster, SC, and many nieces, nephews and friends. He retired as pastor at the First Baptist Church in Gordon on August 30, 2011.
