Betty Carolyn McGowan Hadden 89, passed away on Feb. 19, 2026. Moores Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Survivors include her daughter Wanda Boyd of Milledgeville, a sister Gloria Logue of Wadley, a granddaughter Rhonda Johnson (Dwane), two great grandchildren Amber Fortner and Cayden Johnson. Hadden was the daughter of the late Albert McGowan and Ilene Jones McGowan. She spent most of her life in Milledgeville where she worked as a Nurse at Central State Hospital.
