A young man’s body was found inside a two-story house in downtown Milledgeville on Montgomery Street very near the Georgia College and State University Campus.
Baldwin County Coroner John Gonzalez said an autopsy will be performed Tuesday morning at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab to determine the cause of death. Gonzalez said Chief Deputy Coroner Steve Chapple is handling the case.
Monday evening, Chapple identified the deceased as 23-year-old Ethan Knight of Gray. He said Knight had known medical issues.
The investigation remains active by the Baldwin County Coroner’s Office and the Milledgeville Police Department.
