Clarence Earl 'Papa Earl' Williams, 81, of Laurens County and Milledgeville, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2026. Survivors include his daughters, Angie Everett (Ken), Joanne Hooks (Michael); son, Walter Prestwood (Sue); grandchildren, Dustin McKinley (Lindsey), Savannah McKinley Burdge (Louis), Ashley Spell, Dillon Brantley (Cheyenne),Shelby Brantley (Chris), Jordan Hooks (Rachel), Austin Hooks, Leslie Stanley (Trenton), Lindsay Auld, Will Prestwood (Molly), Leah McMullen (Jason), Betsy McBrayer (Blake), Bennett Prestwood (Chloe), Amy Rainey (Patrick), Rachel Clayton (Garritt), Amos Prestwood, Andrew Prestwood, Jared Prestwood, Jacob Prestwood, Marcus Prestwood, and Maggie Rutland (Will); 41 greatgrandchildren; sister, Joette Wielicki (Dave); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
