Survivors include her daughter, Katrina Renae (Dexter) Veal of Milledgeville; son, Kevin Liggins of Milledgeville; sister, Inez Balkcom Sanford of Milledgeville; brother, Theodore Balkcom of Milledgeville; sister-in-law, Mona Balkcom of Columbus; brother-in-law, Matthew Douglas Sr. of Florida; grandchildren, Dexter Veal Jr, Detavius Veal, Dylan Veal, and Makayla Liggins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
