Two former Georgia Military College Junior College football players, Anthony Belton and Jalen Royals, were selected to the 2025 NFL Draft, becoming the 58th and 59th Bulldogs to reach the National Football League.

Anthony Belton was selected in the 2nd round, 54th overall pick by the Green Bay Packers.

Jalen Royals was selected in the 4th round, 133rd overall pick by the Kansas City Chiefs.

These selections mark another historic chapter in the legacy of GMC Football.

With 57 former players already having reached the NFL prior to this year, the program continues to show the nation what hard work, resilience, and Bulldog spirit can accomplish.

Both Belton and Royals arrived at GMC with big dreams and unmatched dedication.

Belton, a Tallahassee, Fla. native and graduate of Florida State University High School, played at GMC during the 2019 and 2020 seasons. He went on to become a three-year starter at offensive tackle for North Carolina State University, where he earned All-Conference honors and an invitation to the prestigious Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Jalen Royals, from Powder Springs and a graduate of Hillgrove High School, joined GMC in summer 2021 as an NCAA academic qualifier, playing one season before transferring to Utah State University. At Utah State, Royals made a national name for himself, leading all of Division I football in 2023 with 71 receptions and 15 receiving touchdowns, and earning All-Conference honors as well as a Senior Bowl appearance.

Both young men have not only succeeded on the field, but also academically, graduating with their four-year degrees exemplifying the true spirit of a Georgia Military College Bulldog.
