While her interest in cooking started early, Tollison admits baking wasn’t initially her favorite. Over time, though, her love for it grew.
“I never used to bake, but I’ve always loved cooking. I started experimenting with some cookie recipes, created an Instagram account to share them, and now here I am,” she said.
The Cookie Company made its return to the Deep Roots Festival for the third consecutive year.
The Deep Roots Festival is an annual cultural arts and music festival held in downtown Milledgeville. This family-friendly event features a diverse lineup of activities, including live music, an artist market, food vendors, and an antique car show, attracting both locals and visitors.
“This is our busiest day of the year, and we can never bake enough cookies to keep up with how quickly they sell out during the festival,” said Tollison.
Tollison's favorite part of owning her cookie company is the opportunity to connect with a variety of people and share her creations, bringing joy through her baked goods. The Deep Roots Festival allows her to reach a wide audience of new customers, helping to boost her popularity and attract more regulars.
